A marketing campaign for Mudhouse Artist Residency

Awarded the Tulane University Gordon Grant

The Documentary: Two artists, Varvara and Jenny, fight to revitalize an abandoned village in the rural mountains of Crete by attracting artists to work and collaborate with the locals.

FULL DOCUMENTARY RELEASE: FALL 2025

The objective: Convey the compelling story behind Mudhouse to prospective residents and supporters.

The Backstory: Mudhouse is located in the abandoned village of Agios Ioannis. Tucked in the mountains of Crete with views of the sea, the village is quiet, remote, and steeped in mystery. Forgotten documents still scatter the ruins, hinting at the lives once lived there. This atmosphere—beautiful, eerie, and isolating—becomes a source of creative energy, making the residency a truly immersive experience.

Artist testimonials: In addition to the documentary, we filmed two-to-three minute artist testimonials for use on the Mudhouse website and for other marketing purposes.
